Because of my experience working in the web hosting industry, I was approached by a group of partners who wanted to start a new brand. They came to me with a name, “Web Hosting Hub” and I took it from there. I developed the brand, created the design, built the website, helped with product development and integrated a WordPress component to help maximize their SEO efforts. With the opening of Olive Branch Counseling Center’s third location, a new website seemed like a great way to expand the reach of their counseling services to a larger community. Though since their last attempt at establishing an online presence a lot had changed. SEO, Google maps, local search, contact forms and usability standards seemed daunting to a non-profit simply looking for a “new website”. For the next four months it was my dream too. From the logotype to the placement of product on the shelf, everything had to be perfect. The project oozed personality. Utility Board Shop in Ontario, CA was looking for logos and t-shirt designs for the new season. A few days in Illustrator and I came up with a grungy 2-color piece that I felt would resonate with the skateboarding culture and also be something I would be proud to wear. Their response? “I like your style.” - Enough said.

However, the brand strategy of an automaker, the emotional heritage of a single model, and the relationship between brands impact buyer’s decisions just as strongly. I created a template for a new kind of discourse, one that does not just focus on the automobile, but all the meta that surrounds it.
